Adult Baptisms

If you’ve come to believe in Jesus and have decided to follow Him, now is the time to book your baptism! It’s a powerful experience for those being baptised, and a powerful statement of faith to those family and friends watching.

If you’re planning – or just thinking about – being baptised then do get yourself along to one of our baptism preparation classes. They’re only an hour long.

Just drop Jason a line to say you’re planning on joining us. If you’ve still not made up your mind whether to be baptised then you’re still very welcome to just come along and find out more.

Check out some of the highlights from our last Baptisms in these short videos

Child dedications and christenings

Baby naming ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular among new parents. Baby dedications and christenings are similar and include the added elements of thanking God for the wonderful gift of a new baby and committing them into His care. By doing this, parents are undertaking to pray for their baby and bring them up in the knowledge of Jesus until they are old enough to make their own decision to follow Christ. It is also an act of welcoming the new baby into God’s wider family, the church community.

Dedications and christenings take place during the morning services after a time of worship. We limit the number of babies dedicated or christened on any one Sunday in order to provide a more personal experience for you and your family.

Reserve a place: Please email Kathrin or ring the office if you would like to find out the dates for our next child dedications, or if you just want to learn more about what is involved.  We need the names of those who will bringing the baby, the baby’s full name, your email and home address, and your preferred date.
