Compassion

Compassion

COMPASSION

We want to make a difference by practically demonstrating God’s love and acceptance to everyone, with no strings attached, whatever their background, circumstances or religion- because we believe that God is compassionate and cares deeply about our neighbourhoods and community.

HOTS

HOTS

Healing On The Streets is a simple, non-confrontational way to reach out to the lost and hurting on the streets of Sutton. It enables us to connect with our community on a regular basis, powerfully expressing God’s love in the marketplace. A team can be found on Sutton High street every other Saturday, whatever the weather!

We simply invite those who are interested to sit and be prayed for. By being out on the high street on a regular basis, we are able to be part of a longer-term commitment to our community, building relationships with those we encounter.

Sanctuary

Sanctuary

Sanctuary is a ministry that looks to reach out to women in Sutton who are affected by domestic abuse. We believe everyone is truly loved, cherished and treasured by God. We want the women to know the love of God through our actions, relationships and practical blessings. We have been able to supply “bags of love” which provide essential toiletries, personal items and a little treat for all ladies referred to us. A termly pamper session for ladies has been a huge success and it has been a privilege to witness these ladies feeling valued and building relationships with each other and our team.

Fostering & Adoption

Fostering & Adoption

At Sutton Vineyard we seek to love and support those who care for the vulnerable children in our community; our foster carers and adoptive families. As a church we want to encourage our church family to get involved in supporting these families in any way they can. We have been able to provide meals and prayer supporter foster carers when new placements have arrived, and also support families who have recently adopted while they form the special bonds and attachments in the first few weeks.

We host a local foster carer’s association’s monthly coffee afternoon, providing space for them to chat and support one another.

We also hold a monthly support group for families with adopted children.

We are also very proud to be founding supporter of the Home for Good Charity.
